Cheap and Easy! Whirlpool/Kenmore Washer Repair (Cheap and Easy! Appliance Repair Series)

Great Manual
The book did well to walk me through repairing my washer. It does a good job on the moving parts and a great job on the electronic parts, especially for the novice.
It could be better by going into some preventitive maintenance topics. I felt there were probably some additional things I could have done while I had the machine opened up and taken apart.
I saved between $100.00-$150.00 by fixing it myself.

Terrific Repair Manual!
This is a terrific step-by-step manual that anyone can follow. I have used it on two different washers. It is accurate and has saved me a lot of money on repair bills.

Excellent combination of adventure, sailing, and intrigue
Very satisfying adventure. Smallpiece is compelling. The writing is well thought out and keeps the reader interested, especially the knowledge of sailing. I would read more of his books.

sequel to Wire Window, more in the Colin Smallpiece series
another great book, wish it were still in print

Specialties of the House

Specialties of the House is truly special!!
This beautifally photographed and well planned combination cookbook and history book is a gem. The history of the home, Kenmore, in Fredricksberg, Va, is facinating by the sheer fact that George Washington's sister, Betty, and her husband,Fielding Lewis lived there, and George was a frequent visitor, and dinner guest throughout his adult life, as well as Mary Ball Washington. The recipes are authentic, but modernized for the "today" cook, and are very palatable. This beautiful home is open to the public, and a real National treasure.Go see Kenmore, and re-live the glorius past of this home.

The Game of Life and How To Play It
This book was given to my family as a gift eighteen years ago. I have personally given it as a gift more times than I can count over the years. I now work as a Psychic Counselor and talk to people over the world. I recommend this book to all of my clients. The thank-you's that each bring back to me when people read this book tells me that more people are working to make this world a brighter place. The wholesomeness of looking at the world through Florence Scovill Shinn's eyes mirrors a wonderful world of positiveness that we all should follow. In my daily life she has been a constant reminder that what we say think and do, reflects in every area of our life. I had hoped someday to tell more people about this book thanks to amazon I can. My suggestion is read and re-read Florences' book you will learn something new about yourself every time you do. Thank-you to the publishers who continue printing her book and Amazon continues the sales

Around the World
After reading this book I purchased several copies to loan out to friends. I asked that instead of returning them that they pass them on. The books have gone around the world as I have gotten emails from a number of people that read and enjoyed them. I thoroughly enjoyed the book. It was short, to the point, and made a lot of sense. I am a big advocate on the power of words and thoughts and this book gets the message across quite simply. Florence gives an abundance of affirmations that can be used in manifesting change in our lives. Change does not need to be complicated or difficult. Florence gives some simple, practical advice on what to do to create a better life. If I can create change without expending a lot of energy, then that's all the more I energy I have to use for fun. I highly recommend this book.

DELIGHTFUL MANUAL FOR HAPPINESS
I am constantly delighted by the elegance and grace with which the early and mid-20th century metaphysicians conveyed the eternal truths. People like Ralph Waldo Trine, Katherine Ponder, Raymond Charles Barker, Joseph Murphy and Frederick Bailes are still the best choice to read if you are serious about improving your life. And judging by this wonderful little book., Florence Scovel-Shinn takes pride of place amongst them. With a great economy of words, she makes her point and in simple language explains the benefits of right thinking and how to solve problems. The text is strewn with jewels in the form of uplifting statements and memorable affirmations. Amongst other topics, the laws of prosperity, nonresistance, karma and forgiveness are presented in a fresh way, with clear instructions on how to impress the subconscious. She covers everything that is really important in a book that one can read in a day. Of course, I recommend regular reading of this wonderful manual for living a life of joy.

Southeast of Mandalay

Southeast of Mandalay
This book started off slow but picked up a little toward the middle. The main charachter is a man named Colin Smallpiece. He is comparable to James Bond and Indiana Jones all mixed into one person. This book is in a series of other books from what I have learned. The book hints back to other times and places that Colin has been. Anyway, the story is about a 155 mil. cannon that was stolen during the Vietnam War. That and 12 million dollars. A clandstine group called Omega One sends Colin to go and bring it back under the guise of getting two movie stars' twins back. One of the twins dies and Colin fights a small time drug lord who is the twins father. In the end he uses nuclear shells in the gun and blows the enemy camp away. Colin seems to have mutliple personalities, one being an old drill instructor by the name of McConkle. There is a some romance going on in the story and some in depth reading. It was an alright book. There is a lot more to the book but you will have to read it to find out the rest.

Horrible product
Why buy a book for an appliance that is of poor quality and even worse customer service.

Just buy a Maytag and have peace of mind

Still damp.
Poorly organized and incomplete. While there are There are some helpful and well-intentioned tips, but this is by no means an adequate 'do-it-yourselfer' troubleshooting guide. It is an addendum to the user's manual at best. I would pay a couple of bucks to view the information on a web page but $17 (cost and shipping) is outrageous.
